Welcome and please take a moment to tell us about your self.
I am Morgaine others may know me as Kim. I am 36 almost 37 a mom..I have SPMS.
I suffer daily with pain and other symptoms. I try not to let it get me down. So I hand out here.
This place keeps me somewhat sane. I am not here only on my really bad days. I believe we are all important to each other. Whether its just listening, or offering some advice. I have made some wonderful friends.
I hope we all can make some more and become like a small family. That might be to much to hope for...but thats my goal.

many hugs

    Kim,
this seems like a good idea based on the directions the MS site has taken lately. I just want support--a place to be able to ask others if they have experienced something I may be going thru and how they handle it. You know?

Thanks for the invite Morgaine. I don't have MS, I have other problems, but I'm all for positive support! If you'll have me, I'll stay! No such thing as too many friends or too many friendly, and or sympathetic ears. I like to think that my shoulders are fairly broad and I could sure use the support myself from time to time!
    Love and Peace and Hugs.........

    Hi,

My name is John and I have RRMS dx Feb of 06. I really don't have alot of problems right now, just a constant ringing in my ears and a slight bit of occasional vertigo. A bigger nuisance than anything. It is good to see this sight where some positive people, we all need support. thanks for creating it.

I agree with the first post. Nice to have a safe place to go. I am 38 and a mom. I have SPMS. I also suffer from pain and stiffness and dizziness daily and lots of cognitive problems, but I try to make the best of any situation. I love caring for kids and I have all my life. I worked at a daycare before I got pregnant and it was the best job I have ever had in my life. I was never happier. And now I get to care for and teach my own child and that is a dream come true for me. I am glad to be here and look forward to the discussions.

I am sorry not sure of the lingo what is SPMS. I know I have MS I don't have many issues (yet) I was diagnosed 2+ weeks ago. I have pins and needles in my left hand. I have over sensitive legs and arms but nothing really noticable. I need to pick what medication I should take. That is a difficult question. I told my dr. that I will do what ever he tells me to and then called him Yoda. I don't think he got that joke. He just said that I need to decide and suggested a lot of research things I can do so I can take pills but I don't know what to do now. I am also a mom of two girls 4 and 2. They are great. My husband is supportive luckly like I said no serious issues (yet). I am still trying to understand the whole thing. I will stop now b/c I could go on for a while.

    Hi Kim,
My name is Dee and I'm from Ohio or "Redneckville" as you will hear me say that all the time. I love positive people and positive energy. I'm somewhat of a nut if you read my journals. I enjoy sharing with people and meeting new friends. I enjoy about any kind of craft and gardening. Love nature and all critters. Thanks for creating this site.

Well, I am a little behind on reading! I had 2 hour Neuro appt yesterday, went to Sams, then an hour drive to Knoxville and back, then my son took us to where he works in Knoxville for dinner, so another hour round trip drive, So needless to say, I spent very little time on the computer!! So, Thanks Kim, and I will try to check in daily, except March 31-April 7 I will be in Florida without my computer.

I am surr we can all become good friends! I have already made some great friends on this site (through chatzy, then xat),

My name is Terri...was dx'd with RRMS in 2001....then 2nd opinion said didn't have it in 2005....rediagnosed dec 2007....haven't had any treatment since 2005....currently discussing the possiblity of starting the Campath study because I have been so bad with relapses due to lack of treatment. I don't respond much on DS, but I do get alot of information and appreciate all the advice people give out...thank you for this group.
