Restoring old photographs

Posted on 06/04/09, 09:05 am
I was wondering if any of you have scanned old photographs (such as tin type, etc.) and restored them through your computer with darkening and contrast to bring them back to life? I really love doing this myself, and it is great to take these old faded, yellowed photos that were thought never again to be appreciated, and make them come alive again!!! It can be done, and it's a hobby of mine............I love nostalgia.
Have any of you ever done this?
