Cleaning tips for all the fur

Posted by htag - 05/17/08, 06:05 pm

So, I was told to use a mix of fabric softener and water, spray on carpet, let dry, and then vaccume.  I actually had a friend tell me that if you just use Static guard on furnature and floors, that the fur comes right up!  I must say, I also found a little "squeegy" like item called a Pet magnet that works wonders on the floor and furnature.  I also like this big rubber sponge like item called a Gonzo (that I found in the fabric store) to do the edges near my wall and floor junction.  This takes a little more scraping, work, and elbow greese, but it's less chemicals on your pets paws.

Hope you all have an easier time cleaning up the fur as shedding starts!
