You really need to take the kitty to a vet. You should change her dishes to stainless steel as they can be cleaned better and don't harbor bacteria like plastic dishes do. They need to be washed each day. She may need to be put on antibiotics and probably Prednisone for the inflammation. Times like this it is better not to treat them at home and hope for the best...but to take them to the vet to get the proper treatment they need. Good luck. Peace

Cat Chin Acne

Hi. My cat has acne on her chin and I have been treating it with anti bac soapand hydrogen peroxide. It seems to not be working. She has sores that are bleeding then scab up. Did anyone have this problem? If so what else can I do at home? I understand I will probably have to take her to the vet, but just wanted to know if I could help her before I drag her there! Thankx.

Yes, I've hear Stainless steel dishes as well. Leileismom has a good point in what she has told you, and I don't think I could've offered a better solution at this point. Please let us know what happens.
