What do you want for Christmas?

If it's past Christmas, did you get it? Did you want peace on earth or a new car?

  The husband and I decided to get a recliner that we really needed as the other one fell apart, and we wouldn't get each other gifts. I ended up getting him all kinds of stuff. I'd see it and say- oh-he'd like that. He did the same I think. I got him a new wedding ring, his old one had just fallen right off one day. My mom slipped me 100$ bill yesterday, it doesn't matter how old you are cash is always nice!!!!

  my christmas this year was supposed to be love and sparklies... however it was separation and practicality.
  
  i suppose eventually i'll get a christmas that is all love and sparklies, but it will be a long time coming. last night i got a lot of phone calls saying merry christmas and i'm thinking about you. that's sweet. but not the christmas of my dreams.

  I can't recall ever having the Christmas of my dreams- well, one year I was in our dream house we had built, all the kids were okay and it snowed on Christmas eve- the boys got a go cart to share and everyone was pretty happy then, it was a very nice Christmas if you don't count the coldness and disappointment between my husband and I. haha-

Celebrate the fact that you aren't perfect and that you will never be. Just enjoy being you!!!!
