Hi All,

I thought I would start out by posting some links that I have found informative in my quest for a cure for my pelvic instability. Let's discuss!

Katty 2 told me about you. thanks for the info. I am Tony, and I am in pelvic floor P.T. 6 months after regular P.T. 12 months failed. I have had on and off back problems for years, but did not know what a pelvis was until I got trigger points during Reg P.T. on my Obturator Interus and other pelvic areas. Good luck to you and God bless you tring to help others!

Hi Orchid, I did a search on prolotherapy and found many posts from you that were very informative. Noticed you had started this site and referred trailblazer to it. Yesterday, I had an evaluation by an osteopath who specializes in prolotherapy and she found that I do have weakened/lax ligaments on both sides of my SI Joint and in my lumbar spine. I have had chronic myofascial pain for 12 years and have been able to reduce my pain significantly with therapies such as Myotherapy (Bonnie Prudden's trigger point therapy), Active Release, and Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractor. But I have to see the chiropractor at least every four weeks to adjust my sacrum, SI, Atlas and anything else that is out of alignment at the time. I go to the myotherapist and Active Release weekly to keep the trigger points under control and the muscles stretched out, because they continue to tighten when overused. The Prolotherapist feels that there is a 90% chance that strengthening the ligaments on the SI Joints and lumbar spine will stop the pain-spasm-pain cycle that I'm in. The instability of this area hopefully is the source of the continued pain when I overuse my leg or back muscles. I can't walk more than a block without ending up with severe leg pain. I'm scheduled to start the injections of the 3 areas on Sept. 8. I know you have had success with prolotherapy, so would like any information that you can give me on what to expect. Thanks for starting this site and being willing to share your experience with others. Kat
