Sandusky case

After hearing found guilty on 45 of 48 counts I felt extemely overwhelmed and emotional. I know this will have no bearing on my family, but with this being such a monumental case I'm in hopes that it will bring some more awareness to the public.

It was very emotional for me as well! Interesting to me how many people were cheering and supportive to the victims yet in most of our experiences we don't get that type of support from the general public or extended family. Hmm? What is wrong with this picture? -

It's true, there is alot of support for the victims in this case now, but I remember when the media first got wind of this and there were so many pictures of people with picket signs and banners supporting Sandusky. It just made me sick. As a matter of fact I saw my grandmother today who actually said to me "Oh I don't believe he actually did that. There's no way he could have covered it up for so many years." You can guess which side of my family didn't stand behind us. Some people just don't understand the cunningness of a sociopath. -

i was the same. I was literally in tears and had goosebumps. Anytime an abuser gets put behind bars is another day in helping these poor kids out there. It helps to show that again, this was not there fault and that these people do belong behind bars. I just wish there were stiffer penalties for child predators. -

Every case that goes national and justice is done is good for all of our families. Maybe my inlaws will realize that my sick father in law is capable of this and did it.
I hope Sandusky rots in prison, he ruined a lot of lives. This case will make people that see abuse or suspect realize they need to do the right thing.
