when will the fun start

Posted on 05/06/09, 03:04 pm
I struggle with anhedonia. That means inability to enjoy and have fun. Probably originated in my dysfunctional childhood and continued all the years I was busy taking care of everyone else but my needs. Well, Monday was my birthday (55) and I am making some serious decisions to start reparenting myself and take the fun out of dys-fun-ctional and start putting in my life.
Open to suggestions and support.
Thanks
Phil

Good for you and go for it, Phil. Make some friends who love to laugh. You can find them everywhere, just keep you ears and eyes open and you'll find a few. Make yourself laugh once a day even if you don't feel like it and laugh louder and louder You'll start to really laugh after you keep that up for awhile.
    Good luck and
    Blessings
