yea well thats the crux of the idea. the thing is we havent been even more than civilized with each other for a few years, and i have no idea if i should go to see her. another problem might b is that while shes been dealing with this ive been battleing depression, and have attempted suicide and just think it might b awquard if i did go to see her, and if i dont does that make me hartless?

any advice would be useful and if ive jst wasted your time im sorry.

ok well ive kinda answered this myself now, um i just sent her an email, saying i was there for her if she wanted, because if she didnt want to see me then i wasnt imposeing right?? wat u think? does it seem harsh that ive not gone to see her face to face??

I think you have done the right and sensitive thing and that you are a very thoughful friend. She can let you know what she would like and thats great.. don't take it personally if she wants to deal with it on her own though.. some people can't handle it any other way, and if that's the way she want's it then you could just send her some good wishes now and then.. to let her know you are still there should she change her mind.. Take care of yourself too though.. All the best Inka

I would definitely ask her if you could visit. Being by oneself with this diagnosis is a lonely day. I appreciated everyone who wasn't afraid to see me after diagnosis. I needed to know I was still loved.
