Hey all!!!  Just thought maybe I could explain a bit about this new Group Feature in DS so that we can better understand the concept----which is a true asset for the website.

Anyone can set up a group---it is an added feature in each community.  The BP community has several sub-groups at the present time.  It is actually set up the same as the regular community with the following exceptions:  there is the ability to add-on a live chat (which we have)--just click on the group chat room to go straight to the chat room;  you can send group messages without cruising your friends list--it is automatic when you click on the group message feature;  and then there are the administrators--they are appointed by the founder for certain "jobs".  When I set the group up I promised to make the group safe for all of us.  And that means that we need to protect ourselves from Trolls (I am so sorry to admit that they exist) and people bent on creating chaos and wreaking havoc on a community.  I think we all remember last summer when the troublemakers were running rampant through the BP community--I know I do (they scared me into a psychotic break!!!!) and then there are troublemakers who love to come into a group, start crap and then run!!!  Well, there is a feature now in the groups which allow for banning an individual who is causing problems.  Because I would not want to be alone in determining whether someone is needing help from the group or is just out to cause a stink and get everyone het up--I have chosen three others as a "board" to help make those decisions.  I would like to rotate the responsibility around, so if you would like to act as administrator for a time, please let me know---I am not sure how long the term would be--maybe we can discuss it and decide as a group.

Obviously, this is a community---set up to help anyone who might need support or affirmations.  We all have input and all suggestions are most welcome.
