I have the immense pleasure of announcing the arrival of Johnettes daughter, Zahra. It has been a real struggle for Johnette and Chris to get to this point, but she is here weighing in at about 3 pounds, in an incubator but breathing on her own at this time. She was 9 weeks premature.
I will update this thread as I hear from them----and post the pix that she says are okay.

Saw pix of Zarah (i think that is the correct spelling) today, but can't download them because they are locked. She is soooo tiny, but appears to have her mothers fighting spirit. I have already passed on the well wishes and congrats---hope to be able to talk to her tomorrow my time. -

HI everyone and thank you so much...Zahra is a real little fighter and doing so well...Im home from hospital but Zahra has more time to spend there. We are hoping to have her home for christmas...Nana thank you so much for your never ending unconditional support words of wisdom and undying love through what was a tough road at times but definatley worth the effort.
I will upload pictures so that you can all see my tiny miracle...

Those tiny hands and feet, the first smile... all them diapers!!
the closeness, and needing of protection.. these are the things we call children!!
May the Lord hold her precious hand
and bring her through this time....................
