How many of you have kids and ocd and other disorders? HOw do you handle day to day life with all that you have to handle? Was pregnancy hard for you? After you gave birth did your mental illness get worse? I am a mother of one 2 year old boy. Love him more than anything in the world. But my pregnancy was the hardest thing I have ever done. And my bipolar and ocd have gotton worse. Life is hard for me. Anyone else have these problems?

I had postpartum OCD, yes it go worse. The BP went insane after I had my last son. Looking back I fit the criteria for BP2, then after my last - I was definitely BP1. I have only gotten worse since then. :-( -

I am 23 weeks pregnant and my OCD has returned. (I had it very bad from the age of 11), but with therapy and a lot of hard work, i managed to bring it under control until it just became like background noise. My quality of life greatly increased and i was so gratefull and happy that i could finally live my life with some normality.
But now im pregnant its come back, it slowly started to sneak back in. I tried to challenge it straight away but unfortunately its just got stronger. I am being referred to a therapist again so hopefully that will help. I guess hormones don't help!

This is for people who have more than just OCD. Like Bipolar, panic disorder and many more. And I would like to also invite all you with ocd that have the horrible ocd thoughts. I know that it can be hard to deal with them alone. Here you have people that can help.
