The dying south are taking their last KKK infused breath. It's really sad to see how frightened these folks are.
It's like the folks coming to the rallies. I read that many of these folks are on social security and medicare and than say they don't want socialized medicine. I really feel for them. They are angry and they are not going to take it anymore. Maybe the free lunch and bus ride to the rallies gave them a day out instead of sitting and smoking all day long in front of the boob tube watching Fox news.

ouch! i'm born and bred southern boy.....almost ashamed to admit that here or anywhere....but in my defense and in defense of a few others, there still are some good southern democrats in dixie that not only voted for Obama, but believe in his policies and support the cause for health care reform, job stimulus, and that Obama was really born in Hawaii -

Don't you ever be ashamed of your southern roots; James Carville is very proud of his (read his books, you'll see) and is from Carville, Louisiana where a grandparent manned the town's first post office. I greatly admire James Carville; he is as sharp and savvy as they come, with a sly, wicked humor. As Bill Clinton's campaign manager he was the one who put the "It's the economy, stupid!" up in the campaign war room, and who helped this heretofore southern governor win the U.S. Presidency in '92. I've heard of lots of celebrities talk adoringly of their southern past. Remember - Elvis was from the South!! -

I think we got a little derailed here. This is about the fake Kenyan birth certificate. What do you think of that stupidity? I think it underscores the low intelligence of the Republican "base" and is a distraction to the real issues of the day - like getting a decent health care bill passed, dealing with climate change, recovering from the horrific recession/depression, and ending the Iraq war, while trying to avoid a new one in Pakistan (or North Korea, or Iran...)! -

As for the so called Kenyan birth certificate -- these folks are so desperate to discount President Obama that they will believe anything. Pathetic isn't? Logic has been thrown out of the window.
President Obama's mother was an American woman and even if he was born in the North Pole he would still be an American. What idiots. -

as a born and bred southern boy, the one thing i do hold ginst Obama is that he is from the north. he is second gen Kansan, which means he is from the north and he hails from Illinois, which is from the north and he resides in DC....well, i guess as president he has to live there.....but he is still a northerner....but as yankees go, he's a pretty good guy -

Is the North Pole a US territory? It doesn't matter what nationality the mother is, where a person is born is what makes them a citizen, not the nationality of the mom.
