2012 should be a very interesting election year.
Jindal reminds me of Mickey Mouse - he'd be a hard one to take seriously, IMO. Palin apparently is reaching out through her FaceBook for a job - at least she has her resume posted there, I'm told. I also hear that her offer to support some Republicans in seeking re-election has been declined.
Palin will make money - her book is going to be a great Christmas present - maybe as a joke gift? Besides, I don't think she wants to work hard enough to be the president.
Huckabee is way too insincere and the other bright stars have been hit with scandals. It's been a rough road for Republicans lately - poor babies.

Palin's Rating Plummet To All Time Low

Sarah Palin's approval ratings have sunk to 40%, the lowest they've been since she burst on the scene a year ago last August; at her high point, right after her intro to America, she had a 53% rating.
This, along with the total fizzle of her expected lecture circuit plans most definitely point to the fact she will NOT be the Republican nominee in '12. It's anyone's guess whether there will be a new bright star in the Republican party then. Jindal and Palin, once so promising to the right, are now seen as jokes.

They're getting their just desserts, those R's. Their party is almost dead. -

If I were a Republican I would want her as the Republican nominee in 2012. She has charisma !
Oh yah, i forgot I'm not a republican. :0
I still want her as the Republican nominee.
Tim Pawlenty, Governor of MN is a little worrisome. But he might not be extreme enough to attract the Republican Base. -

I don't want any Republican as President. The middle class and poor are forgotten. R's give tax cuts to the rich. They start wars. They oppose stem cell research. They are against women's rights. They nominate cold-hearted justices to the Supreme Court. They are regressive. -

My understanding is that only 20% of this country admits to being Republican. They are losing ground rapidly and they deserve to.
I have never seen such a hateful, angry crowd. I think it is because they have lost their white supremacy stand. I think they still cannot believe that a black man is actually our president, with power over their lives - and they think that all of America, if we were truly honest, feels that way too. That's why they're being so open with their attacks on Obama, IMO.
I think one of the things that is destroying them is that they are so against health care reform and we can all see that. We can all see that they don't care about people - they just care about their support base for their next term and it shows. It is so cool to watch them being openly against the "little" people - rather than hiding behind the nonsense they usually get behind. Finally they are being seen for what they are - and they don't even know it. -

I too, enjoy this party shooting themselves in the foot - over and over and over again. I agree - the Obama attacks are racially motivated. If it were a Democratic white President doing what O is doing, the attacks wouldn't be so virulent and relentless. Have you seen some cartoon Obama avatars? Blatantly racist! -

Oprah scored the frist interview w/ Palin post-Gov. resignation. I think it airs mid-November. Hope O asks some tough questions. -

I don't know if O has the spine to do that, Jani.
