Burstitis

Posted on 07/13/08, 10:52 am
I have got PSN, RSD, and also Fibromyalgia. Last year I had such terrible pain in my left leg. I later found out it was burstitis. The doctor said it was that I was favouring my right side when I walked, I have still got this terrible pain in my leg. Has anyone had this?

I don't have it ... but I do have pain in my leg. Has the doctor prescribed any type of treatment for you? It seems a shame to have to live this way. If you are favoring your right side when you walk, has the doctor tried to figure out WHY you favor your right side? Ah, yes, the bursitis. However, I think there is more to this than the doctor is checking into. Go back and ask more questions or get a referral. Do some homework on the internet. You need to be cared for and you are in charge of you. Pain is pain and if there is someway that you can be helped, you should be. Please know that I am thinking of you. peace and love ... Kyle Anne

Thanks Kyle Anne for you advice, that helps me a lot. The doctor did not give me anything for this. I think I do need to check on it again.

I have burstitis in my left hip. One day I just couldnt get that leg to move when I went shopping, I went to PT and learned how to do some stretching, it helps. I also have fibro so I know a small pain in a big pain in my body.

Stretchng is the best you can do, lay on your back and bring your leg over, then bend your knee and do the same and also bring it up, Do both sides.

Thanks DDntn, I am glad that the stretching helps you. I can't do any stretching as I have got such terrible pain in my legs and feet, I have tryed in the past but it just hurts to much. I have been told not to do any stretching. But thank for the advice.
