Creatine

I subscribe to Fibromyalgia Network which includes a magazine. They take no ads but just report on trial findings. They suggested Creatine, OTC available.
Since I tend to get more side effects than any benefit from drugs I've tried this at less than half the dose suggested. It is used by body builders (not a steroid). Also parkinson's patients. Anyway, after a week, my pain has been cut in half.
Not very expenive either. Has anyone else heard of it or tried it?
thanks for all the helpful ideas, hints I've found here.

well, its been almost two weeks. I can actually sit at my desk for more than 20 minutes and not have to find an excuse to wander or jump up and go to fax machine, copier, etc.
For the price of under $10.00 and no side effects, I'd recommend it. Tried both anti-depressants and many pain killers and all of the side effects were worse than the pain.
