I keep my fish oil capsules frozen so the slowly dissolve, I took them for inflammation, I had trouble with them causing erosion of my esophagus. After my last endoscopy it showed erosion and that was the only thing I changed was adding the fish oil capsules, I was taking 3 a day maybe thats the problem but that was how many I was suppose to take for inflammation. Thanks for the info,
Need to get my husband on them for his cholesterol, Iknow drs take them also. -

I was taking 3 a day and they called erosion in my esophagus I discovered after a recent endoscopy. Now I am hesitant to take them. Also my friend was told they were causing her acid reflux. Darned if we do and darned if dont. -

Flax seed also contains omega 3's. You can get it in pill form or in seed form and add it to anything including cereal.

Make sure if you get flaxseed you grind it down, you need the oil out of it, Just eating the flaxseed doesnt help. Atleast according to DR OZ. -

Be sure to take the fish oil with food or after eating. That helps with the GERD part. I take 2 -3 capsules a day to help with memory and fogginess of the brain. -
