Dear daily strength friends,
Because of my severe chronic pain, about 1.5 years ago, I lost my ability to work at the career I loved. It was an awful loss, on top of the challenges I already face because of my constant pain. However, I am not one to give up- and firmly believe in the saying that if "life hands you lemons, make lemonaide."
Therefore, I have enrolled in an online correspondance course. I am not well enough to study in a traditional manner (ie in a classroom environment), so I study through my college's distance study program (online correspondance)
As part of my school studies, the class i'm taking right now has a project where I have survey 20 people on a tight deadline.
I am very scared as to how I will find 20 people to complete my survey in that time. I think other students in my class are going out and asking strangers to do their surveys. However, because of my chronic pain/ physical disability, this would be a challenge for me. I am therefore hoping that some of you would be kind enough to help me by doing the survey.
The survey is only 15 short questions, and should take roughly 5- 10 minutes to complete. I'd really appreciate if you could help me with this! The survey asks questions about how happy you are, and if you have experienced any challenging life events recently. (It's studying whether a person's level of happiness is related to life circumstances).
Your answers would be anonymous (I don't ask for your name or identifying details such as address etc). Your answers would only be used for my school project- nothing else.
This group has been a lifeliine for me over the past 1.5 years, and I really really hope that nobody minds that I've asked you for help with this survey. If I have,PLEASE forgive me.
Please let me know if you think you can help me, and if you can, I'll send the survey to you. Feel free to send me a message over daily strength, to reply to this post, or to send me an email at my personal email address at: happinessinadversity@live.com .
Take care,
Jenna (BLUE 22)
