Ramadhan Mubarak

Assalamo alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu.

The month of Ramadhan will begin on Tuesday 2nd September in my country. Ramadhan Mubarak to all those belonging to the muslim faith.

  We started fasting on the 1st, as we go with global sighting since we are all one ummah - but I know people who go with local as well (they get into this huge heated debates and fights over it - astaghfirullah) At anyrate, akhi - are you fasting? I am curious since I know you have BP and I know another sister here who was told not to fast as it would make her manic. So I was curious as to what you were recommended to do? I don't want to hurt myself, but I would like to fast like everyone else. Unfortunately my mother in law fasted and ended up in the hospital for a month because she decided to fast and she is diabetic.
