Who did you see? I used to go all the time to concerts, but don't much anymore. Last two concerts were at the Oakland, CA arena. Saw Clapton about 6 yrs. ago...really good but waited all night for "Layla" & he performed it for his encore accoustically...damn! wanted him to rock it out.....
About 4 yrs. ago took my daughter to see Jimmy Eat World, Green Day & Blink 182 (headliner)...Green Day was amazing! A bit of trivia, Green Day got their start at a local small club in Berkeley, CA called The Gilman. My daughter goes there all the time to see different bands. Billy Joe Armstrong started playing there at age 15 & the rest is history.

last concert was a good old redneck country concert for my bro's birthday...Emerson Drive, Terri Clark, and Big & Rich. we pretty much just drank quite a few beer and 2-stepped the night away. it was great fun! -

Clapton does kick ass. I saw him in Columbus, OH; opened up with Let it Rain. Last concert I saw, Toby Keith. I love country music concerts - bunch of happy drunk rednecks...actually, that doesn't sound like much fun but believe me, it's a hoot and a holler. -

Well Jazzie, I will have to pick you up while I am on my giant roadtrip this summer, and drag you to a good country concert! You have no idea what you are missing! Nothing better than throwing on the good old cowboy boots, having a beer in each hand, and trying to dance with some random stranger at the same time. Good stuff I tell ya! -

Cool Powerout..my daughter is a huge fan..saw them summer 2006. Hey this is cool..my bff went to Vegas for Super Bowl & bought tickets to see Sammy Hagar & his Waboritas band. During the concert, he had a few surprises....1st he brings out Michael Anthony, bass player for Van Halen that was replace by Eddie's son, Wolfie, on their current tour. Crowd goes nuts; then brings out Chad Smith of the Peppers on drums, crowd erupts. Finally, brings out Joe Satriani on lead guitar; crowd almost faints! LOL ..very cool.

I saw the Squirrel Nut Zippers in Santa Cruz. Best show I've ever been to. I ended up meeting and talking to them for about half an hour after the show too!
