It's refreshing to see a resurgence of Christian artists gaining exposure through iTunes.  I can't tell you how much money I just spent downloading songs from House of Heroes, The Wedding, Family of Five, and my new favorite Tenth Avenue North (which remind me a lot of Switchfoot and the Fray, great if you're fans of them as well).

We need such  music these days in a time that tells us we're naive or perhaps even discriminating to the point of bigotry (I won't get into political debates, but you can guess what I mean; recall the recent beauty pageant backlash the contestant had to endure...)

Anyway, I plan to post some videos of these new artists :) Enjoy 

Our calendars are marked off by certain events. People's birthdays, weddings, graduations, etc.

Some are marked by watching the Oscars or marking once a week LOST as a show not to miss.

My calendar is marked by how much I offer up to my Creator, and right now with each praise I feel pulled negatively in the other direction. I am in need of reorganizing my inner life right now, so do not be surprised if I'm not here to update as much. I am planning to immerse myself deeply this Lenten season. I thank those members who've made this a go to place or forum for new music to be discovered :)
