Propranolol

Hi guys ,

I have been suffering from migraine for about 5 yrs..

and i am taking Propranolol as preventive , its pretty good
my headache attacks has reduced but i am getting on weight as a side effect
and i am having skin rashes on my face too.. heart beats decrease & increase suddenly...

I was wondering if anyone has been taking them before & what kind a reaction they had?
Had it worked with you ? And how your life has been after that?

  I suffer from migraines myself and I don't think I had side effects. Although I did stop using it because I would miss a dose and started noticing I wasn't getting anymore headaches. Although something to pay attention to are triggers of your migraine and writing in a journal to keep track. I think you might want to lessen your dose if you feel those symptoms. Also most other migraine medicines I have had gave me much greater side effects and propanolol supposedly is one of the least likely. Speak you your neurologist/dr.
