Posted by Breathes - 01/10/09, 01:56 pmCelestial Highlights of 2009 January 5: Jupiter's one year sojourn through Aquarius will tend to expand humanitarian impulses and technological innovation. President Obama with his natal Ascendant and Jupiter in Aquarius, can lead the way.
January 11: SuperMoon (Full) at 21 Cancer. Luna in her home sign, and at perigee(closest to earth), amplifies the Moon's emotional, and geocosmic influence.
January 11-31: Mercury Retrograde.
January 25: Annular solar eclipse at 6 Aquarius 30. As this eclipse conjoins Jupiter, it suggests the prospect of favorable social change, or reform. But eclipse ruler Saturn is conjunct Denebola- a star linked to natural disasters. Indonesia is a flash-point for harmful weather or earthquakes, as the eclipse path crosses over Jakarta, and the epic Saturn-Uranus opposition falls on the eclipse meridian there.
February 4-5: Saturn at 21 Virgo opposes Uranus in Pisces. Saturn's tense aspect(-150-) with Chiron in Aquarius, may signify important health related developments- for better or worse.
February 9: Penumbral lunar eclipse at 21 Leo.
March 6: Venus turns retrograde at 15 Aries, until April 17. Venus tends to act more aggressively when retrograde, especially in Mars-ruled Aries. The Mayan's whom were adept at understanding the cycle of Venus, feared it's influence when in retrograde motion.

Venus Retrograde
A retrograde planet means it looks like it's going backwards in the sky for a time, although this is physically based on an optical illusion. (For more about how this works, see the article Introduction to Retrogrades.)
When retrograde, a planet's energy can become turned in on itself. This doesn't mean it becomes invisible or undetectable ? in fact, it can become much more intense for the person experiencing it! However, retrograde energy can be harder to bring out and utilize in the external world. It is more fragile and vulnerable out in the open air, as if it has no skin on. It can also be harder for the person to perceive and work with this energy objectively in themselves, since their experience of it is so subjective and close to their inner sense of self. That doesn't mean a retrograde planet is not used, but it may be difficult for the person to draw on that energy consciously, deliberately and easily.
When Venus is retrograde, her normally social and friendly nature can be come shy, withdrawn or quiet. There is a deeper sense of value in one's experiences which must be found without outer distractions or disruptions. Relationships can be turned inside-out, as the two people find they need to explore the hidden undercurrents of their relationship. When the hidden, suppressed, minimized or ignored dynamics finally come out, it can disrupt the status quo of the relationship ? which may or may not be a bad thing!
Breathes Comment: May be worth keeping this information in mind, perhaps observe what may take place in the world and around us. Read More Here:

• Fossil Faced Man – A flint stone from the Swedish west coast can't give the impression of being nothing else than a detailed human head. This is extraordinary because we, more than less, were supposed to be apes three million years ago. Read more stories here: http://paranormal.about.com/
