bad energy

Posted on 09/23/09, 12:37 am
I work in a group home for special needs doing the overnight shift. The group home is a regular five bedroom house. I feel bad energy in the home.and bad feelings when I'm there. Does anyone know what I can do to help myself with this other than quitting my job?

There are plenty of things you can try.

    * Protect yourself. Go out and buy a necklace specifically for this purpose. The next part will take a bit of explaining, but I will try to keep this as short as possible. You can start out with grabbing a pencil and a blank piece of paper. Draw up your own image of Celtic knotwork on the paper. It does not matter what shape it is, so long as it is one infinite line. One of the most popular versions for beginners normally will look like this:

Now, take your necklace and hold it in your hand with the drawing in front of you. As you look over the necklace, visualize the knotwork slipping onto the necklace (use the drawing as a reference, if you can't remember the weaving pattern of it)- almost like sliding on a charm or pendant. As you are visualizing, think of knotwork being used almost like a mouse trap. Any negative or bad energies will get caught into it, as a fly would in a spider's web. Since the line is infinite, whatever negative energy stuck inside will not be able to get out. (Almost like a never ending maze)

This takes a bit of practice, but you will find that it will get easier the more you work with it. You can eventually work yourself into drawing more complex and trickier designs of knotwork, which will work even better at catching or holding negative energies.

Every once in awhile, set your necklace out in the sun to clean it out. You will know when its time to get a new necklace- it will either break or you may get a biting sensation when you pick it up.

    * Use the same technique to protect the room or house you work at. This in a bit more complicated, just as protecting other people is even further difficult. This time, you don't need a necklace. The wall is your canvas. Always visualize the image over a doorway and by the windows- the point of entry. Draw the image clearly in your mind. Again, it is a trap- once whatever energy passes through the doorway, it will not be able to get free. You can even place a little spark of light in the center within your mind's eye as bait.

A further step to this technique is to kick whatever gets caught in your trap outside of the house. You can place another ward above the home's front door with the intent: "If you mean ill will or harm, you will not be allowed to enter". This will not prevent everything from coming in- neutral or positive entities will still be able to come and go as they please. If you are uncomfortable with that, then place a different intent into the ward.

Once a week, redo this process to keep the protection as strong as possible.

    * Cleanse the house you work at if you can. Its a very easy task to do and most of us do this without even realizing it. Take a small dash of sea salt into a bucket of warm water. Use a sponge or cloth and use it to wash the walls and floors. As you do so, hold the picture of dirt washing away in your mind. It is really that simple. You will notice a huge difference after you clean an entire house like that. I normally do this to my house every year for spring cleaning. :o)

Well, I hope this helped a little! Sorry to be late in replying- things are pretty busy here!

    xx
