    Dear Brent,

I have a question I hope you can answer. I have Medicad and Medicare, however, I am 68 years old. CanI still be part of this group? I first became disabled in 1994 when I feel on 2 steps of black ice and shattered my right leg. I live in Ohio. I did not see Ohio on the list.

There are now 31 states that offer policies for people under age 65. GA and TN passed legislation in 2010. GA insurers will start offering policies on Nov. 1, 2010 and TN insurers are supposed to start January 1, 2011. The whole group list is:
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware (end stage renal disease only), Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin.

This is a group to discuss the issues for those of us that are under age 65 and have Medicare. In my state of Fl. I can't get Medigap insurance. What are your issues?
