Why is it?

Why is it people say things like " through God all things are possible" but will not do anything for their health that is not approved by their doctor. God put fruits and vegetables on this plant. He does not work for a phamacutical company. Everyone knows what God put here to keep you eyes healthy but at the first sign of trouble they run to the Dr for eye drops that can cause blindness or surgery that cuts out part of the eye and replaces it with a man made part. I do not understand.

Obviously there will be a million different views on this, but for me the doc is a person I can talk to and have a discussion with about my health. Are you saying you leave it all in gods hands? A being that is never to be seen or heard, it is all 100% faith. As for the things that come from the earth I am a believer in that, there is alot that can be done from plants, fruit and veggies. A spoon full of honey is not going to chase away my pneumonia although honey is a natural anti-biotic. Just as much as you cant understand why people go to docs and not look to god, I cant understand why people turn to god. -

Sorry, I haven't been on much lately. I use doctors now (since Nov.2006)for diagnosing. I then look for a natural cure. My eye doctor actually gave me no advice other than to keep comming to him. I went to the ER with severe pain, which turned out to be a kidney stone. I did not fill any of the 5 prescriptions that he gave me. The stone passed without his help, most likely due to the acupuncture treatments and carrot juice that I was drinking. I have argued with more doctors than I have sat down and talked with. I get sinus infections. Whem the mucus turns green I used to go to the doctor for antibiotics. I have had 4 doctors tell me "let's wait and see if it gets better on it's own". I told them I did that before paying for an office visit, was not going to pay them for another visit, so give me the darn medicine.
I was malpracticed by 2 doctors after a car accident. They got squeezed by my insurance company and just stopped treating me. One was the neurologist who gave me the test where they stuck needles in my arm, zapped me with electricity, and measured how high I jumped. He did the second one real fast and said I was fine now. more later -

I don't have enough faith not to believe in God. It is much easier for me to believe that an al powerful being created the heavens and the earth than it is to believe in the "big bang" theory and the theory of evolution. I have studied some of both theories and I find them to be almost humorous. They really run their imaginations overtime to come up with alot of that crap.
I don't just "leave it all in God's hands" by means of prayer. I believe that God put things on earth that can cure illnesses that are caused by consumming poisons that man creates. I had glaucoma that I believe was caused by using aspartame. Carrot juice cured my glaucoma. I do have more examples too. -

Because God wants you to help yourself. God created man and man created doctors and drugs. Sometimes I have found that homeopathic medicines work better than the stuff at the local drugstore. You have to use your own judgement as to what treatments are best for you. It's good to consider all options before you have any procedures done. -

I do not believe that God would help make eye drops for glaucoma that can cause blindness on their own. Maybe doctors and pharacutical companies started out with noble intentions but they have been corupted by the love of money.
I am not talking about homeopathic remedies. Foods can CURE diseases. The greatest part is that you can try the natural cures without compromising any treatment that you doctor puts you on. Carrot juice does not have an adverse reaction with any glaucoma eye drops.
