I used to have allergy problems. I had 6 years of immuno therapy by an allergist (from 1978 to 1984). He was the best Doctor I have ever known. He listened and cared. If I had a problem, he did all he could to solve it. In 1998 I had nasal surgery to fix a deviated septum and oversized turbinates. In 2000, we moved to Texas. All 3 of these improved my allergies but I still had sinus headaches and I could go through a box of kleenex on a bad day. Since doing the weight loss cure in May, I have not taken 20 doses of sinus meds (holistic now). I used to take more than that every week and have that many on a bad day. I much prefer the holistics now as the other stuff had some really bad side effects. -

Barrington-they don't break your nose for nasal surgery,I had it to remove polyps and it doesn't hurt at all, just get a dry throat for a while.I get hayfever so I know what you mean about nasal sprays and inhalers.Oh the joys of summer!I find that breathing exercises help and eucalyptus oil in a burner is always sure to relieve the sinuses and everyone elses in close proximity lol! -

For homeopathic meds, go to a health food store. I go to Whole Foods in Austin. It works better and without risky side effects. I used to use chlorophenomirine malate (spell check didn't know this one). It was $3.25 for 50 at WalMart-over the counter. It didn't seem like a bad thing. I found it to have sexual side effects. Very unpleasant.
The weight loss actually helped more than the nasal surgery, but it was also years after the surgery.
