Holiday stress

I get myself so jammed up for the Holidays! Can anyone relate? I'm shopping, wrapping gifts, making fuge, writing out cards, etc. I get so caught up in it all that I forget to take care of ME!! Then I'm exhausted and can't sleep so start all over again! Push, push, push. Not a good thing---but can't seem to relax everyday. Sometimes at night I put on my xmas lights and music and just sit and watch the tree go round and round. Now that's nice to do. Holidays stir up alot of emotions within me from the past, both good and bad. I guess we all just do the best we can. xo

  I am allways glad when the holidays are over and everyone can get back to normal, way to much money is spent on xmas don`t get me wrong I love for my grandsons to have lots of things but it gets as you say caught up in the holidays all the just have to get and some one will end up disapointed. the lights and trees are so pretty this time of year glad you can relax some and enjoy them. ann

  Ive been sick and feel guilty that I havent done my normal decorating. Christmas startts at our house after thanksgiving while the women are cleaning up the men are putting up lights outside then I get all the trees in every room it dont get turned on till the first it is awesome and then start coming down the day after christmas takes as long to comedown as it does to go up. I dont send cards but do make candy with our money the way it is this yr is scarey for me.

  I am aggravated with the wrapping. seems like everyone makes their presents looks so pretty and mine look like a 5 year old wrapped them-lol. darn tape!!! darn wrapping paper!! grrrrr! I am thankful that I have things to wrap though.

  I finally figured it out that the kids really don't care about the wrappings. They love to tear it off anyway! lol. OMG! 5 more days and the fat man will be here! xo

If you have a problem or need advice, I would love for this to be a group where anyone feels comfortable talking about anything with no judgement.
