LDN Cost and Burning Feet--Help!

Posted on 06/23/09, 01:46 pm
Okay, I have been on LDN 4.5 for two weeks.

First question: How much are you guys paying for your presrip. at a compounding pharmacy? With my insurance, I am paying $55 for 30 capsules, even though it is generic.

Second question:Have any of you on LDN every had a problem with their feet feeling like they are burning? What are you doing to help with this problem? I have been putting them on an ice pack to get some relieve.

I'm paying $95.12 for 3 months of 4.5, filled in 1.5 caps. So $31.71 per month for 4.5; I take only 3.0, so it's $21.14/month for me presently

i paid about 26.00 at skips for 3.0

just changed to river pharmacy in canada--it was about 130.00 for 30 ---50 mg caps--you don't have to have a script--and you have to crush and mix with distilled water--the pharmacy will provide more detailed instructions-----very cheap have not figued out exactly how much

I buy mine from riverpharmacy. It averages to around $10 a month....a much better deal. In fact, the more you buy the better the deal.

Sherry....You don't have to crush the pill. If you just leave it in the water for a few hours, it will dissolve all on it's own. In fact, crushing it could cause an inaccurate dossage amount if you're not waiting for it to dissolve completely.

Burning feet? I've never had that, but I don't have MS, I have RA. I hope you get some relief!
    take care,
    Sarah

Thanks for the cost info!! Looks like I am paying too much, but it is based on what my insurance pays, I guess....or because I have to have it compounded, which probably falls under my specialty pharm. prices. I am amazed at how you folks make your own LDN. I would be scared to do that. Also, cannot believe that you can get it without a prescrip in Canada...wow!!!!!

I have to go through a compounding pharmacy (Skip's), and I pay $58 for 90 (3 month supply) capsules. No insurance that is just their standard rate. This is the price for 4.5 and 3.0.

I read the other day that burning feet could be caused from lack of vitamin B, also known as pantothenic acid.

I get mine from the University Pharmacy in Salt Lake City. It is about $58.00 for 4.5mg/90 day supply. If I submit it to my insurance, I would have to pay a $25 copay so I just don't submit it. Their number is
888-768-7414. My doctor seems to like this pharmacy. I have been on LDN for 7 mos. now, with no side effects. Have a great day :)

All Day Chemist is the cheapest, no RX, takes 2 weeks to receive, the same 50mg Revia Tablet that River Pharamcy drop ships from India.
