It is the same as the drug that is getting ready to be released (Frampidine) It basically puts a band-aid on the lesions so the messages conduct better.I've been on it 2yrs and it helps my leg strength so much. Its a good drug. -

What side effects does this have? Is it holistic or an actual "drug"? -

It's an actual drug. I get it from Skip's Pharmacy. Same place I get LDN from. It was prescribed for me from Shands MS center in Jacksonville. -

So it's ok to take along side the LDN? Thanks for the words of encouragement...sometimes I feel like I'm in this alone. It's tough to keep fighting sometimes. -

One other question...what's the dose you are taking & is it the Slow release or reg.?

I am taking 5 mg 4-Amino 2 times a day. I could take it 3 times but think 2 a day is ok. I am on 3.0 LDN. There is no side effects from the 4-Amino on me. Everybody is different. It's not SR. When it gets released in 2010 as Frampidine it will be SR. Thats what I have been told. Are you taking anything to help with depression? Sometimes we just need a little help. Hang in there and I am here if you need someone to talk to. :) -

Oh yea... my leg are stiff also since I upped to the 3.0 LDN. I heard it will get better. I found that if I just lay in bed and stretch my legs a little while its easier when I get up. -
