Today I am telling myself that I need to appreciate all of the great things in my life and not think about the things that are missing (ie, my STBX). Focusing on my STBX's absence and the pain he caused doesn't do anything to benefit me. I need to silence the little voice that pops up when I am having a good time and says "wouldn't it be nice if STBX were here enjoying this with you?" Well he isn't and it probably wouldn't be nicer. His loss. The man I married doesn't exist anymore and my STBX would only try to steal my happiness and suck out my lifeforce if he were here with me around all of this great stuff.

Can't control anyone but me. Counted my blessings and felt better.
I know about the "wouldn't it be nice . . ." statements. I do that too. Just have to shut off the little voice.

- I am grateful that I have enough time left to live to learn many things about myself and apprciate others, the good energy, and all the goosd stuff...traveling, special times with special peeople and stuff I like
- I am grateful to have the opportunity to be alive and truly enjoying smells, tastes, and life
_ I am grateful for weekends, as my new job is getting bettter, but some days suck more than others and I am still getting the hang of it...from being dragged around to semi street smart where I am...huge jump...learning curve is just as fast...and I am happy to have one, some days works better than others...lmao
