A man goes into a restaurant. When he gets the menu, he is surprised to see that there are two kinds of soup. ‘Parrot Soup $1.00 . . . Chicken Soup $4.00. Since parrot soup is so much cheaper than chicken soup, he tells the waitress he wants parrot soup. While he is waiting for the soup to arrive, the customer feels something pulling at his pants leg. He looks down and sees a parrot. “Look,” the parrot says, “order the chicken soup, and I’ll pay you the $3.00 difference.”

A student is in her room doing her geometry homework. She looks up to see that her pet parrot has escaped from its cage and has flown over to the open window. Just before flying out the window, the parrot whistles and then cries out, “Polygon!”
