I don't know if I have good suggestions, other than look for people who share your interests, or try to get involved in threads (like starting this one) so that people can see your personality. As for me, when I get a friend request, I very, very rarely feel they are a creeper, just another person who saw something in my profile that interested or clicked with them. -

Read peoples profiles and the way way they answer posts. If they say something you relate to, just ask them. It's that easy. : ) xoxo Jen -

if you read someones profile and relate to it or want to make a comment you can send them a hug with a comment attached... the people on here are friendly, i'm sure no one would feel you were a creeper... -

I'm new to dailystrength too, and feel as you do. I don't want to send out 100's of replies and feel like I'm a creeper either. Even off the computer my relationships with my immediate family are fine, as they love and understand me as best as they can. Its others that I have a problem with as they get scared at what they hear on TV about b.p. and so judge all by the few sensational stories the media sensationalizes. It's too bad as people never get to know anyone with b.p. Maybe you can tell something about yourself, like what you like, do in your free time, if you have goals, but only if you feel comfortable in that. Having something in common that's enjoyable is helpful, because its a pick me up in life. I like to share recipes with people, that is if I can get them to spill theirs, if not I try to find something to talk about-books, antiques, religion, politics, games,if you like pets, I have 3 cats and my mother has 2 dogs I go over and walk for her, it helps clear my head, or if you like tv or movies seen but each person has different likes. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
