BP period

Posted on 10/09/08, 12:28 am
I hate my period I swear it makes me act like an idiot. I feel like I just can't get my head together during that time. I just thought I would whine a little bit. I'm sure everyone feels this way. I also thought I would let my presence be known. Ahhhhhhhhhh I'm crazy.

You're no crazier than the rest of us, lol! Hormones can make your BP so much worse, I totally sympathize.

I'm always a wreck the week before, during and a few days after my period. I know how you feel. I feel horrible for those around me when hurricane flo hits and I become the raging hormone monster. I vote that they start making a bp medication specifically targeted for women so that when our periods come around we don't go off the handle!

combine PMS with BP and you have a volatile cocktale... i've been told that when my menapause kicks in properly i will be put under a menapause specialist and the change in hormones can make my BP worse... so if you think that those without BP have a struggle with PMS and the menapause imagnine what its like for us... and remember we're all crazy here lol

My pdoc just put me on zoloft to take as soon as I feel like I'm PMSing and to take it until my period ends then come off of it till the next round to prevent withdrawal later on. It's working phenominaly! I've got my period right now and I feel fine (for once)
