Judgement on schools

Have you ever noticed how which school you go to apparantly determines what person you are?
Its so bad especially in christchurch, Ive had people having big convos with me and us really getting along and then find out what school i go to and suddenly im not good enough?
Like the many stereotypes
Avonside - Sluts
St Margarets - Ponsy gits
Hagley - Stoner drop outs
Aranui - theifs and thugs, theres way more but isnt it pretty ridicoulous? Idk its just really stupid any one else agrre

  I think the quality of the school depends a lot on the staff,especially the principal. I agree that generalizations are ridiculous. My friend came from a teaching background. She sent all her children to Aranui and was very pleased with the school. The children went on to uni and did well.
  There are good kids at every school if you look for them. There are drugs available at every school I believe.
  I know some kids who went to a Catholic school and there were drugs there. Mind you it was stamped on pretty quickly, they were on to it.
  I had a music teacher once who had pupils from all over. She told me there were more kids thieving in the richer suburbs than in the poorer ones.
