Hi,
I'm not sure where i fit in but I am the proud mum of a gorgeous almost 3 year old. However, since he was 1 I have been trying for a 2nd bub with no success. I have been seeing a gyn/ob all 2009 with no success, including with the Fertility (tracking) centres for the last 3 months. My doc has not given me a laproscopy or internal u/sound and I think this is wrong. I'm worried that I have developed something but my blood tests are clear. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

My ob/gyn did the same until i asked him for a referral. We spent 1yr on diff tests & blood work. He said yes after the HSG. they had found both my tubes were blocked & he gave me my referral. If your not comfortable asking him/her go to another for 2nd opion. -

You should definitely look for a Reproductive Endocrinologist (fertility specialist). They go thru the same schooling as a Gyno, but then continue their studies for a few extra years and focus on fertility. I am just getting insurance that will cover all of this. My gyno diagnosed me with PCOS and insulin resistance. I know that once I see my RE I will get some answers. I would definitely get a 2nd opinion. You blood tests will not always give answers and ultrasounds are very helpful!
