I'll have some eggs please!

Hi Everyone!
Brand new to this site and to this whole IVF thing...

Haven't actually started yet, but I'm excited and I've been reading lots of entries all week. I'm SO happy that I have found this site.

I have my second appointment with my fertility specialist on Monday and finding this site has made me A LOT less anxious! I have found so many inspirational stories and so much love here... I want to spend hours a day here!!!

My story? Please invite me as a friend and you'll be able to read all on my first journal entry. Would love to get some "Friends" that I can share this whole journey with.

The short of it, is that I was diagnosed with Ovarian Failure when I was about 20. Dr diagnosed after blood tests and ultrasound.

I convinced myself that I didn't want kids after that, but now that I am married to the most awesome guy, I have come to the realisation that I've been in denial... I want a baby!!!

I have had 1 appointment with my fertility specialist and she has ordered some tests. I get the results on Monday, but I sneakily read my ultrasound tests and they say that I have atrophic ovaries.

I don't know what this means... I just want to know- do I have my own eggs hiding in there somewhere?

I have never had a period off the HRT, and when I was first diagnosed, they said I had high FSH levels. It was for this reason that they said that I had ovarian failure, but does this mean I don't have eggs and need a donor??? If anyone knows anything about this, I'd love to hear from you!

Will wait anxiously for a reply.

Welcome
