Stop obsessing over the problem
Posted on 10/25/09, 02:01 pm
Hello everyone, I have had a rough week but still pressing on. All of us I know have something we are going through in life.Jesus told us in the world we would have tribulation. It is the nature of the fall but He didn't leave it there He told us to be of good cheer He has overcome the world. This morning when I got up I thought I'm tired of obsessing over my problem because it keeps my eyes on the problem and not the Lord and His power. That is what Satan wants. He wants us to feel there is not hope. I have got to daily fight my situation by looking at my situation from God's perspective of His enabling grace.
No matter what we are going through don't give up if we see so little happening. God tells us " Don't despise the day of small beginnings, as the battle rages longer " let us not grow weary in well doing" trusting that we can "look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
I still have triggers each day that make my heart fear and trust seems to be absent but I put my eye on the only one who makes a way where there seems to be no way. My Redeemer, Deliverer, and Lord.
