Spherocytosis

Being born asthmatic and anemic(2 life threatening diseases) is sort of
depressing. I've few things to cheer me up, like the kittens and our pets like the snake(Adara). Sometimes I get minorly anemic(Annoyance!) and I have to go to the doctor. I've been waiting months for a splenectomy to be
scheduled, but it still is taking time.

A blood disorder where the blood cells are misshappen. Their size and shape make the spleen unable to filter them causing the blood cells to rupture inside the spleen. This causes bilirubin from the blood to be released into the immune system which causes jaundus and anemia. This disease can be life threatening, and the usual treatment is a splenectomy.
