Hooking up a turntable

Posted on 02/20/12, 07:36 am
I was at a loss as how to how to hook up MIke's turntable, so I went online and found that I needed to have something called a preamp as a go between between the player and the receiver because most old turntables aren't compatible with digital technology. As I was researching preamps, it dawned on me that I gave Mike this contraption to turn records into CD's, so I looked and found it in the storage room. Then I went online and found step-by-step directions on the same device that I had and it worked! I can't tell you how proud of myself I am for actually accomplishing this! I feel that my MIke had a hand because I haven't thought about that gadget in over three years!

    Zakki,

You have every right to be proud of yourself. You evaluated the situation, considered your course of action by finding resources, and then DID IT!!! It's another step of independence that we can't foresee at first glance, but resiliency is awesome as we grow into a new us. Congrats. TJ
