The biggest sign that I have gotten has been through my cell phone. I have 1 picture of Tanya (my daughter) & AJ together in my cell phone and keep in mind I never knew how to assign a picture to any particular phone number. AJ's accident was around 8 pm on a Wednesday night. We had texted each other at about 4:30 that afternoon and I just put my phone on the charger like I always did. The police came at 11:05 that night to tell us about AJ. We had some many people in and out of the house for the next 2 days and I had no reason to use my cell phone because my daughter had been here with me for the past 48 hours. That Friday night my future son-in-law was home at their house and my daughter was still here with me and they were texting each other so much that both of their cell phone batteries died. My sons friend Antoine was over with Nik (my future son-in-law) so Antoine called my cell phone (which he had never done before) to let Tanya know that Nik's phone's battery was charging, when Tanya answered my cell phone the picture of my kids came up. Tanya asked me if I had assigned their picture to Antoine's phone number. I said no - number one I don't know how to do that and number 2 Antoine has never called my cell phone until now so I didn't have his number in my phone. We all thought hmmm that's weird. So Tanya asked her friend Almeida sitting next to her in my living rooom to call my cell phone (Aj was like Almedia's little brother. She lives in North Carolina), when she called my cell phone the picture came up again. I did have Almedia's phone number in my phone but again no picture was assigned to it. We had about 10 people check it just to make sure that the picture was not assigned to any phone number and it wasn't. My sons fiance Skye and her family were on their way into the house and Tanya told Skye to call my cell phone but didn't tell her why. She called it but the picture didn't come up. Skye was sitting next to me when Almedia called me to let me know that she got back to her parents in Phila and the picture came up again. To this day when Almedia calls me, the picture comes up yet is still not assigned in my phone. The following Sat Tanya had a prior commitment to go somewhere with Nik and another couple. It was not a good day at all for me but I told her to go. Her phone battery was so low that she borrowed her friend Anita's phone to call me to check on me. Anita has never called my cell phone before but the picture came up when Tanya used it to call me. It no longer comes up when Anita calls me but that's ok. It was always mom, Tanya & AJ and he was still keeping the 3 of us connected using his sister to get to me. Anyway the story isn't over. A few days later Tanya went to Sprint to get new cell phones for herself and Nik. Nik wanted a black phone exactly like AJ's and Tanya got the same model just a different color. When Tanya got back, she put her and Nik's new phone numbers in my phone so that I would have them and again she didn't assign that picture to her or Nik's new numbers. A few minutes after she added them she called me while she was sitting next to me and the picture came up on her brand new phone with a brand new number. Nik came over a couple of hours later and said mama dukes (that's what he calls me) let me call you from my new phone. He was sitting next to me when he called me and the picture came up. When Nik calls me now, the picture no longer comes up. It was just that one time and we're figuring that AJ was saying hey man, cool phone because it was exactly like his. Every single time Tanya calls me,the picture comes up. She just called me a few minutes ago and I could see both of my kids before I said hello. One of AJ's friends named Bree came over for dinner about 3 weeks after the accident and I was telling her about my phone and I didn't have her number so she called my cell phone so that I could store her number and when she called me, the picture came up. She was amazed. I told her that it was AJ's way of saying Bree I know you are with my mom right now. She called me right before she left that night so that she could see the picture again but when she called me the second time, the picture didn't come up. I know I've been rambling but my cell phone is the most amazing thing that has happened. To this day, the picture still comes up everday when my daughter calls me.
