our dr refused food allergy test..help please

hi i took my autistic daughter to the dr thinking we could request a food sentivity test but our dr said since she has no other allergies or imedite reaction like rash there is no reason to test.i want the test for delayed reaction like behavioral issues . it drives me crazy to see the genral ped dr who is no good for anything autism realated and says everything else doesnt work and a waste of money. bottom line your kid is autistic and only one on one time will help. they dont like bio medical,natral/alternative tratment or delayed vaccines. once you mention one of these your a pain in there ass they can see right through you and are ready to shut you down i was so upset even a simple request for a hearing specialist was denied she said due to my daughter autistic symptoms the test would be inclusive.i felt like what are you good for just to take a quick look at my daughter tell me something i already know and put it on record. i was so upset i thought about changing dr's one who will respect my feelings even if they dont agree.sometimes i think only a D A N doctor might be the only one to help but the are not covered by most inshurance we have blue sheild of ca HMO . if you have any thoughts on this love to hear your story.

  I would go to the top who ever is the director, or tell him you are going to the news, report him scare him you know yo;ur child vetter than anyone fight

  You need a DAN doctor. They are really the only ones that know what the heck they are doing. Unfortunately it is expensive and insurance will not pay for it. It is worth it though. I put my son on the autism diet gluten/dairy free and unfortunately it did very little to help him. I am will as you are to do what it takes to help my son but at this point (he is 9) I think helping him develop the skills he can and supporting what therapies they have available to him. I also took my son to his regular pediatrician and got no answers and was pissed because these are the people that are supposed to be the experts. Try Jenny McCarthy's site she has a lot of insight and some really great suggestions. I would love to hear what happens. Much love and support.
