It is 5.12am and i am sat round my mum,s bed in the i.t.u my mum was brought here over a week ago because her physical pain was so bad that she had to be sedated,well she was doing ok and was taken back to a regular ward then three days ago without any kind of warning my mum took an overdose at first they thought that my mum had interfered with her pik pump [a pain drip attached to her drip which she has to push the button so that she can have regular morphine] well obviously it wasen,t controlling her pain again,cuz she had brought her own morphine tablets as well as her other pain meds,so she,d got so desperate she took all her morphine tablets and her anti depressants and sleeping tablets we are now hoping that her liver isn,t damaged,well about 4.12am she had a heart attack,we don,t know how it has affected her body but i never want to ever see my mum like that again,i am scared and even more so now that she has got all the different doctor,s around her bed my nan and grandad are here as are my aunt and uncles,i know this site say,s healing together but right now i don,t know which site to go on to ask for any kind of advice can someone anyone help me with this? i can,t understand why she has done this,i honestly thought she was doing ok guess i was wrong,i,d welcome any kind of advice,i feel angry at my mum for doing this but i also think her pain doc has really let my mum down please can anyone give me some advice on how i can help my mum? without my mum i just wouldn,t know what to do.callum
