New and finding acceptance difficult!!!
Posted on 10/12/09, 02:44 am
Hi
We are new here and we are finding it really difficult to accept our inner child parts. First of all I guess we should explain that we are MPD/DID and that we have 32 different parts to us most of them being children.
We suffered sexual, ritual, pyshical and emotional abuse until just about a month ago. WE are 34 and have only really been "safe" from our abusers for about a month now. It is very hard for us to accept our inner children because they all have sperate memories that they hold and some of them are so young that it's hard to tell what they need or want.
Luckliy we have some very good friends and they help to make us feel accepted and safe with no conditions ro rules.
Does anyone esle here have more than one inner child or is anyone else here DID/MPD?
My inner kids would really like to make friends with other inner children if that is possible?
WE are all very scared adults and children and jnust want to feellike we can be accepted and that we can actually be safe feeling our feelings.
thanks
