Dear loyal friends:

I received some information about our founder, Pipercub, (Melinda), from one of us, Milkywayexpress.  Apparently, she has a diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder, and is on the site using many different temporary accounts, and a lot of other screen names.  If this is the case, I can only conclude that our friend did survive the surgery on December 17th, and is now dealing with life as best she can.  All of you who stayed, and kept faith, have my gratitude.  Because this room is full of such good people, I will continue to act as founder, clean out old messages, write news when I have some, and just generally keep the site going in the spirit of the founder.  Who knows?  Some time she may wander back and trust us enough to tell us herself what the story is.  I had a struggle with myself as to whether to put this up.  I have decided to put it up because though it may look like gossip, it is the only lead of any kind I have had as to what happened to our friend.  And as ever, if anyone should learn anything, please put up a discussion topic, or contact BobCJ.
