"for piper"..... partial liver transplant........

not knowing specifics, i'm going to share a little general information about what Melinda may be facing right now.

a partial "live" liver transplant is taken from a live donor in the attempt to rebuild existing tissues. i believe this is coming from her nephew...god bless him....

in doing this, a patient must remain on life saving drugs for the rest of their life. these drugs are designed to "fool" the body into accepting a foreign organ.

a liver transplant is not intended to improve life, it is intended to save a life.......

what we have are prayers.....prayers that Melinda will survive the surgery and live a painfree and fruitful life...

  And we also continue to offer what Piper has always appreciated. Strong support from a host of caring friends. Pray without cease. Piper is fighting without cease, and it humbles me to realize how small my problems really are. Bless all of you, and health to our friend!
