DEER MEAT RECIPIES????

First year got deer and never cooked it. How do I do this?
Any good recipies? Hints?

  What kind do you have...ground, cubed, etc? I cook it all the time. I cook it just like I cook beef. Anything you can do with beef....you can do with deer.

  no ground yet, steaks, backstraps, all of it.. but not ground. Next one will be ground.
  
  Just put some in the crockpot today, with a can of coke, some kc masterpiece BBQ sauce a cut up onion let it cook all day and then added a can of stew veggies... Was delicious!

  I put a piece in crock pot (roast or steaks) with Golden Mushroom soup, chopped onion and carrots salt/pepper. Serve with mashed potatoes!
