Favorite Pumpkin Pie Cake
28 oz, can Pumpkin (not pie filling but just pumpkin)
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 C. White Sugar
2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 Tsp. Cloves
12 oz. can Evaporated Milk
3 Eggs
1 Pkg. Yellow, White or Spice Cake (I used spice cake) (not pudding mix)
Blend & mix well all ingredients up to & including the 3ggs.
Pour into lightly greased pan 13 x 9 inches.
Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mix.
Sprinkle over top of powdered cake mix about, 3/4 C. melted butter.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
Let cool a bit before serving, cut & top with whipped cream.
Personal Note:
I found serving it in dessert bowls better then using small plates.
I've found that it does reheat well & I've divided the rest up & froze it for sometime later.
This is delicious and oh so easy to make!!
Hugs, frieda
