out of body?

Twice I've what could be an out-of-body experience. There were differences, one being a very 'short' trip into my dining room, the other more complicated, but I'll share the similarities.
Both times, completely conscious I was walking somewhere, doing whatever. Both times there was a point where I became afraid, panicky. Suddenly, I disintegrated into sort of an energy form (tough to explain) and went flying full speed, slammed with great force (into my body), sat up gasping for breath, only then realizing I'd been in bed the whole time. Intense dream, or something else, no way to prove. But definitely unlike any other dreams I've had before or after.

I've had them. a grandma/pagan tale is that if having one during sleep and then while waking you feel crowds of people groping at your feet as you try to land, that you should NEVER let them grab you or pull you down to them, it is your dreamline/lifeline, and you could die in your sleep!
I was pregnant with my son when my first one happened......I was napping and awoke slowly. As I was waking I couldnt move, I had just had a nightmare of turning my head and seeing my son laying next to me fully born and dressed with his head chopped off! So I thought it was only a dream until I couldnt fully awaken. I then saw my body come out of my own and try to crawl through the living room while I was somehow watching it with another body doing this!, so I could scream out the front door. Then It came backwards slowly into my body, and when I looked up, there was this monkey looking thing on my stomach, jumping? . I told it to get off in my mind, then I screamed "In jesus's name, get the f off of me"! And it did by flying backwards and dissapearing! I was totally freaked out by this! Will NEVER forget what happened, and certainly believe in everything from alien abductions to the mothman now! Thanks to god, also, for being there, when I needed him/her! You see, I was told I could never have children again, I asked god for my son, got him, and I dont really think the devil liked that too much....only explanation I have for a demon monkey to be on my pregnant stomach!

I've had them. When I was a child it happened a lot. I could feel myself slipping up and out of my body and I would scream for my mom.
She would ask me what was wrong and I would tell her I thought I was dying.
As an adult, it has happened several times. It's always shocking to me to realize I'm not in my body and I always seem to slam back in hard enough that it hurts. I usually wake up ice cold and my heart is pounding.
I'll never get used to it, but I have had fun with it occasionally. I visited a friends house one evening. That was pretty cool. Everyone was asleep.
I've gone flying over the city before also.
Weird, but interesting. -
