what herbs r safe for my guinea pigs?

i have grown some herbs on my window and they r getting pretty big i have corrinder, basil so r they safe for my piggies

    Probably the leaves of the coriander, or cilantro would be safe, and basil is pretty much safe for anything. I get a mix of dried herbs for my birds, and both herbs are listed in the ingredients. Also, if you don;t use pesticides in your yard, you could cut some clover for them. Parsley would ba a good choice, too, as well as thyme. Also, you could start sprouting seeds that I bet they would like; alfalfa, clover, etc. I use a quart jar with a strainer in the lid. Just dampen the seeds by soaking for several hours, then just keep them damp by rinsing each day, and , in a few days, you have fresh sprouts.

    they love dandelion leaves too. i used to make sure that the dandelion leaves i would get for mine was away from pollutants too like car fumes. we had many piggies throughout the years and each had a favorite thing to eat. some liked green peppers, some bananas and other things, you can google to find out if there is something to avoid.

    I had assumed that the guinea pig would know what is good for them to eat and not good to eat - but then maybe they would not.
